Samsung Electronics Ltd. will launch its Samsung Galaxy A9 in the country sometime around mid-November following the global launch on 11th October 2018. The device will definitely attract some attention but whether that becomes positive or negative will be entirely reliant on the price.
Two smartphone trends have taken off in 2018, notches and cameras. Well, Samsung Electronics decided to go the other route and add cameras. Having more than 4 cameras is not a new trend, LG V40 ThinQ has 5 rear cameras, but Samsung is the first to put 4 lenses on the back and just one at the front. The device, Galaxy A9, is a mid-tier smartphone that is apparently built for those who love to explore, capture the moment and share what they see.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 comes with four lenses on the back, each with its own unique function. From top to bottom, we have an 8MP lens with a 120-degree wide-angle view, below it is a 10MP telephoto lens for 2x zoom, followed by the main lens, a 24MP shooter and finally a 5MP depth sensing lens for portrait shots. On the front is a single 24MP lens for your selfies.
Aside from the crazy camera, the phone is clad in gradient color.
