Finserve has been teasing a new product launched today. Dubbed mKey, a revolutionary keyboard app integrates three key pillars social, financial and lifestyle.

mKey was conceptualized to reduce the friction; where users have to switch apps to perform lifestyle, financial or social functions on their smart handhelds. mKey app keyboard allows the user to access the social networking sites/apps of their choice through the app; basically, once the user set up the keyboard, the app takes over as the main point of access to other apps on the phone.

mKey has a variety of financial services, to begin with, users can buy airtime for all the carriers in Kenya Faiba, Equitel, Telkom, Airtel and Safaricom, Users can send cash to mobile services or another mKey user, request for loans up to 1 million KES, buy goods and services as well as pay bills.

The user can fund the account through the available financial services bundled on the app, M-PESA, Equitel, Equity agent or Eazzy Banking.
