Safaricom Limited last week was on social media teasing their customers with the tagline, “Big things are coming….” The big idea was Shinda Mamili, a campaign that will run on a regional level with daily, weekly and grand draw prizes to be won.

The campaign was officially launched on Friday last week, and the campaign will run for 11 weeks, 12th January to 27th March 2018. During this period Safaricom will award Kenyans with prizes being given away worth over Sh300 million in cash and other valuables like 2000 Neon smartphones.

Friday 12th January 2018 marked the first phase of the promotion where a national treasure hunt was held in 10 major towns (Nairobi, Eldoret, Nakuru, Machakos, Kakamega, Kisumu, Mombasa, Garissa, Meru, and Nyeri) and random lucky winners across the country were awarded Kshs. 100,000 each.

This tagline is bold, crowd moving and so creative.
